October 15th – a day of remembrance
Did you know that 1 in 4 women will in fact lose a baby during pregnancy, infancy, or delivery? That is very alarming, and yet it seems to be so “taboo” to speak about, even though it’s so common. Why is that?

Easy craft that anyone can make!
I’m a Pinterest fanatic, and lately I’ve been looking for ideas on DIY Christmas crafts that my daughter and I can make together. I had my eye on a cute idea to make ornaments out of candy, but they were missing some vital steps in the process! So I combined some tips from a few different ideas to create a fail-proof formula to make the perfect candy ornaments! And trust me, if I can make them perfect every time, then so can you!
This diaper bag is for you, too, dads!
I don’t know about you, but things have been busy with plans revolving around Christmas already! We’ve been shopping, decorating and planning family events. I get so wrapped up in the holidays that I forget my little man’s birthday is soon after! Yikes! I’m gonna have to get into party planning mode soon! I cannot believe he will be two in January. That little dude is getting big – and heavy! One thing I seriously cannot stand is carrying a huge diaper bag around all the time when I have to tote him, too!

Hey hey, baby mommas! ha! If you’ve been following along, then you’ll know that today’s post is the third installment to my “what baby needs” series! Hey there, friends! Recently I published a post called Baby Essentials: The Only Items Baby Really Needs. This post is part two of three, so stay tuned for yet another! Since I posted about the essentials before, I wanted to tell you about some ideas that baby might not HAVE to have, but they are very nice to have. Some people might actually consider these essentials, actually. I’ve made a list and broken it down for you to explain why you don’t need them, but why you’ll want them! Also, they make great shower gifts! You ready?
Congratulations, you’ve got a baby on the way! While there’s nothing possibly more exciting, trying to figure out what baby actually needs can cause anxiety. With so many gadgets and new baby gear out there now, how do you know which items you will actually use?
I’ve never really set a resolution before. I just like to set small, achievable, measurable goals. It sounds more attainable to me, so I’ve never felt the need to make a resolution. However, I need to ask something of you, 2017: If you could just slow down for a minute and not go by as fast as 2016, that’d be great.
I happen to be a full-time working mom. I breastfeed my son (who is currently 8 months old) and he gets bottles of breast milk while I’m away. This means I have to get my pump on at work. I also did a lot of breast pumping at work for my daughter who is now 5 years old, so this isn’t my first rodeo. The following is what works for me, but if I can help another momma out with some tips, then I’ll be happy! So here are some tips coming from a working, pumping mom who has done this more than once!
