To Suit Every Budget
So it’s already mid July – how did that happen? This season is popular for more than just sun and fun – it’s wedding season! Surprisingly, I don’t have a lot of weddings to attend this year! But usually, this is the time where I’m always buying gifts, picking out a dress and planning to celebrate. And in the past (when I worked as a wedding planner), of course I was planning every last detail for all the big days!
As a wedding planner, I used to get asked this question a lot – “what should I get my bridesmaids”? It’s customary for the bride and groom to give a gift to their maids and men, so if you’re having troubles trying to think of ideas, then here’s a fun list of ideas ready for you!

- Jewelry. While this might be an obvious suggestion, consider some jewelry types you haven’t yet explored!
You seriously cannot go wrong with personalized jewelry. Anything with a person’s name on it shows that you took some extra time to have something made just for them. My absolute favorite personalized items are ones that I wear every single day. These are the Lisa Leonard Stacking Rings.
I got mine for my birthday from hubby. They are organically-shaped, which I love. Mine are sterling silver, but they also come in all different types of gold! Mine have my childrens’ first and middle names stamped in them. But for a bridesmaid gift, you could have their first name only, or even their nickname for a little extra fun.
If you’re not into personalized jewelry, then what about some handmade pieces of jewelry for each unique friend? I seriously cannot stop drooling over the fun that is in the etsy shop from Lynne and Lucille. Her designs are ALL one-of-a-kind handmade pieces made from recycled materials of all kinds. Check out these recycled guitar string earrings (similar) and drum cymbal necklace (similar)!
How fun is that! Her store is always being updated with different designs ranging from leather goods to pieces with animal bones and different metals. If you want one-of-a-kind, you’ll find it at this shop!
And of course, if you’re just looking for some stylish pieces and not a big fan of the handmade part, then I’ve never been steered wrong with Stella & Dot. (Disclaimer: I do NOT sell it, I’m just a big fan! But I am an affiliate, and I may make a commission from any purchases made here.) I’ve been to some of the home jewelry parties and as a matter of fact, I’m about to have one of my own in a few weeks! Stella & Dot has gorgeous pieces for every friend on your list including those that love full-on glamour to those that appreciate a more minimalistic look. The following photos taken of me by Cincinnati’s own Leanne Hunley happen to be some of my favorite Stella & Dot pieces which you can find here (affiliate link): www.stelladot.com

They have so many great pieces that would be great both as gifts and as something the maids can wear during the wedding also! Check out these cool ear jackets and stunning necklace (which can be worn 5 different ways!):

Stella & Dot Starburst Ear Jackets and Sutton Necklace
They also have the cutest options for the flower girls on your list! Check out the Little Girl Gifts at Stella & Dot

2. Bags/Purses. A handbag is a pretty personal item. Women generally want to pick them out themselves. However, there are exceptions for sure. A great occasion bag (vs. an everyday bag) would make a great gift. And everyone loves totes!
Not only does Stella & Dot have amazing jewelry, but I love their accessories too! Check out these beautiful bags that would make awesome bridesmaid gifts! I don’t know any woman that wouldn’t love to have one of these:

Stella & Dot City Slim Clutch in Crosshatch Raffia

Stella & Dot Fillmore Tote in Black/Cream Stripe
If you happen to be looking for an awesome Stella & Dot rep, my fave is Amanda Beeman and you can find her right here!
3. Makeup Bags. Speaking of bags, another type of bag that’s perfect for gift-giving is the makeup bag! Even if she already has one, this is one thing that she’ll appreciate another of. Especially if she sees the crazy cute designs that the ProjectPrint etsy shop has to offer! I’m obsessed with her prints and how she mixes them – so fun! Check out these two that I own (gifted):
And guess what? Back to that whole personalization thing – you can totally do that with her bags, too. Just check out the lining here! It’s got my name written all over it. Literally. You could have your bridesmaid’s name added in the lining, or her nickname. It’s like a playful little surprise when she opens it up!
Side Note: This shop also features lots of cute graphic designs and printed stationery. How seriously cute would these thank you cards be to pass out to your bestie bridesmaids? I promise you she’ll love it more than a card from the drug store!
4. Makeup/Skincare. Okay, you knew this was coming from me, didn’t you? Ha! There are so many options here. For starters, you could go with a great palette. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette is always a hit and looks great on everyone, in my opinion.
I feel like you can’t go wrong with anything from Too Faced either. The Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette is still my top fave and you can read my full review on that right here.
Makeup can be hard to choose for someone else if it’s not a palette, but if you have an adventurous maid on your hands, then a splash of color would be fun to add to her gift! You could always grab her a gift card with some pretty lippies to throw in her purse. I’m obsessed with these fun colors that Sephora sent me to try – some are glosses and some are matte – and some even have glitter in them, which is perfect for that glam maid. But Sephora Collection lippies are seriously fun and there really is something there for everyone. You can shop all from Sephora Collection right here. Plus they all have high-end quality, but are more affordable than most of the lines that they carry.

In regards to skincare, it could be difficult to choose specific products as gifts in this realm (if you don’t know their skin types). Skincare is something that everyone likely uses, and there are plenty of products that all would appreciate. If she’s a mom, why not gift her some masks to pamper herself with? Or some luxurious lotions? You could totally gift a regular skincare line too if you knew that it was suitable for most skin types.
Speaking of Sephora Collection, did you know that they have a great skincare line? I’ve recently been using this eye cream, moisturizer and mask on my dry skin (gifted) and I have to say – I’m definitely a fan! I especially love the thick and creamy formula of the Total Age Defy Cream for Eyes & Lips. It really does seem to make my fine lines less prevalent! Anyone could use some great skincare, and these items would make a wonderful gift for women of any age.
Makeup tools are also popular with anyone and everyone, and Sephora Collection doesn’t disappoint here either. They have makeup sponges, amazing brushes and sets, setting spray and even brush cleaner. My new favorite item is this Show Curl XL Lash Curler – it seems to be curved at a more dramatic angle and really makes a dramatic difference when I apply my mascara! It also comes with replacement pads, which is nice. Plus it’s hot pink and looks cute in a gift!

5. Nail Care and Polish Sets. Whether she’s doing her own nails for the wedding or just polishes her own fairly often, a few bottles of polish would make a perfect addition to a little gift basket! I was recently gifted some polish from Sally Hansen and I am absolutely LOVING them! Not only are these colors PERFECT for weddings (or really, just summer), but for a drugstore polish, they are long-lasting and really hold up well!

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Polish in Little Peony, Miracle Gel Top Coat and Miracle Gel Polish in Plush Blush
The Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish Top Coat really seals it in too and gives a great glossy finish that looks like you walked straight out of the salon. I’m wearing the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish in Plush Blush
. It’s such a gorgeous color for everyday and delicate and pretty enough to wear in the wedding, too! And guess what? Today is day 6 of wear for me and I just now saw my first small chip! This is BIG for me – I’m hard on my nails and they ALWAYS chip when I do them myself, but this formula is FAB and I’m super impressed! Your maids could totally wear this color for the big day, too.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish in Plush Blush
You could also gift your maids a gift card to their favorite salon for a mani/pedi and attach a few bottles of polish if she often does both – it’s a gift that any woman who likes to get pampered can appreciate.
So there you have it! 5 awesome bridesmaid gift ideas which are not only fit for bridesmaids, but for any women in your life that would enjoy a luxurious gift or a little extra pampering. Are you getting married and on the hunt for the perfect gifts for your maids? Or are you just seeking some gift ideas for someone special?
