My latest faves in a beauty roundup for the month of May!
Hey there, friends! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve made a blog post, so I figured a beauty roundup was in order! Ready to get back in the habit – life has been weird lately now that we’re still in quarantine! How are you guys holding up?
I don’t know about you, but quarantine life didn’t slow down much for me at first! I am lucky enough to still have my full time job (I’m a creative director for an agency)- I know so many others weren’t that lucky. I’ve been super busy working, but grateful. And now I am SUPER happy that homeschooling my kid is over for the summer – this momma wasn’t cut out to be a teacher! (God bless those teachers – each and every one of them!)
Now that I’m not making a long commute daily, I’m making more time for blogging! Wahoo! If you’re following me over on instagram, you may have seen a few of my fave items from this month! LOOK #1
I purchased this palette from Ulta this month, and I can’t put it down! It small, too, which is nice if you’re on the go. I love the warm colors and it blends beautifully. This picture isn’t new actually – I posted it in this blog post in the fall for an everyday bronze makeup look. However, I revived it, because I really love bronze colors in the summer, so I’ve been wearing this look on repeat! Check out the blog post here for full details!

I created this everyday glam makeup look with a palette I purchased last year, but it’s still one of my favorites! And finally, even though this pic was taken in April, it’s been my #1 favorite new product through May. Becca Cosmetics gifted me this unbelievable highlighter, which I have literally worn every single day since – it’s that good. It looks fab on days where you don’t wanna wear any other makeup and you just want to look fresh-faced, but it’s also the icing on the cake for a full-on glam look. I’d say it’s a must-have, no doubt.
