I have always had the worst dark under eye circles. As I’ve gotten older, they only have gotten more prominent. And I swear, they’ve gotten so much worse in the last two years. (Probably not a coincidence that my son is two years old, is it?) Ha! He’s probably part of the reason. Good thing he’s cute. Overall though, I’m just getting older and fine lines have been an increasing issue for me as well.
SO what do I do about my dark circles usually? All I really do about them is just conceal, conceal, conceal. I LOVE my concealer. And honestly, I don’t ever go without it. If I do, then I constantly get asked, “Oh honey, are you okay? You look so tired.” Or I will get: “Are you feeling okay? You don’t look so great.” Yeah? Well, thanks. I mean, mom life has taken a toll on me for sure, and at 36 years old, I’m not getting any younger. I also don’t pamper myself the way that I know that I should (and deserve). But I’ve finally found a product that helps with the dark under eye circles and also helps with self care!

I recently had the opportunity to try out the VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Pads for Dark Circles,1 Box/6 Pairs. These little gel pads have been so refreshing – in more ways than one!
I couldn’t wait to rip these bad boys open and see if they made a difference at all. It seems that my dark circles were especially bad right before my first use, so it was perfect timing, really. The box comes with 6 pairs of gel “stickers” for use. I didn’t expect miracles right away, but I can definitely say that I was impressed even after the first use!
Here’s a pic of my eyes – no makeup on my face – and freshly cleaned. This was just before I used the product for the first time. It was around 11:00 pm, and I was getting ready for bed.
As directed, I read to use 2-3 times per week for best results, and to wear up to 8 hours for full effect. The best way would be to sleep in them.
HOLD UP. My first thought was, if this is gel, then how is it going to stay on my face? The outer side of the VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Pads for Dark Circles,1 Box/6 Pairs are like a papery white material, which you see on the outside. But on the inside, it’s actually a very thick pad with gel coating and much more substantial than a flimsy piece of paper. Thank goodness.
My first impression after applying the pads was that they felt cool and very soothing! I really liked the feel. And to my surprise, once I put them on, they don’t budge. They don’t go just slipping and sliding all off your face. They actually stay put. I will still nervous to sleep in them with something that close to my eyes, but it wasn’t an issue at all even though I sleep on my sides.

I can even comfortably wear them with my glasses on!
7:00 am was the time I got up that morning, so I got a a full 8 hours in the eye masks. I couldn’t wait to take them off to see if I noticed a difference – and guess what? I truly did! Here’s a pic I snapped as soon as I hopped out of bed and took the pads off:
I definitely noticed a reduction in darkness! Also it seemed that my fine lines looked less prominent! Here are the same two images above (before and after) side by side for your analysis:
You know what surprised me the most? I didn’t even realize how puffy my undereyes were until I saw the before and after! These little masks seriously took the puff away – I was mesmerized!
The more I used these, the more I looked forward to them. I have also found that they work even better if you keep the box in the fridge and then apply them immediately from the cold before going to bed! It definitely seems to reduce puffiness even further and feels SO GOOD – like a little treat for my face! I wish I would have known about these before my wedding day!
Overall I’m super happy with the results and have even ventured out of the house with very little to no concealer under my eyes a time or two – which is a really big deal for me since I’m so self conscious about my dark undereyes!
Do you struggle with undereye issues? What products have you tried to help with them?
