I must admit that hubby and I haven’t made a lot of time for date nights lately! Bummer! Busy life getting in the way! But we just celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary recently which called for a night out! I created a soft glam makeup look with some new products I was trying out, so I wanted to share my faves with you! Here’s my soft glam date night makeup look!

You guys have probably heard me mention by now a brand that’s new to me called BeYu Cosmetics! I’ve loved pretty much everything I’ve tried from the brand so far! I used several of their products for this look – you should check them out! Especially because their prices are so affordable!
Products used:
Eyeshadow: BeYu Cosmetics Color Catch Eye Palette in #223 Dried Leaf Shades (quad). These four palette shades are so versatile! I’m actually wearing all four colors. I applied the lightest shade under the browbone and to the inner corners of my eyes. Then, I used the darkest shade to blend into the crease for a hint of drama. Next, I used a setting spray to wet an eyeshadow brush and I applied the second light shade (which has a shimmer finish) all over my lid only for a cut crease look. (Any brand of setting spray will do – I used e.l.f. and it was around $3 I believe!) Finally, I used the third lightest shade to apply to the outer corners and blend in. I have green/brownish eyes and I love the ways the colors made my eye color pop! I think these shades would look good on anyone!
Eyeliner: BeYu Liquid Fine Liner Longlasting in Black. I went for a thin liner look since my eyeshadow was more of the standout feature. The liner is THE BEST if you want a precision line. It’s probably the thinnest I’ve ever been able to apply, and I love that because I’m not usually big on eyeliner!
Mascara: BeYu Lash Expert Volume & Curl Mascara, Black. You’ve seen this one lately! I didn’t want to apply false lashes, but I definitely wanted a look of drama. So of course I reached for my recent fave which I featured in this post! Amazing formula that layers on the drama with ease!
Eyebrows: BeYu Eyebrow Liner Waterproof, Subtle Taupe. I am super picky about my eyebrow products. They either don’t match my eyebrows that great, or the application isn’t that smooth, but I’m am loving this pencil formula. The color is great and for a pencil it’s actually a very creamy application that blends effortlessly. Definitely a win in my book!
Foundation: L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation, 202 Creamy NaturalI used my go to here. It gives a good medium coverage with a lightweight feel and looks super natural thanks to it’s dewy finish.
Blush: Sephora Collection Winter Queen Palette. This was a seasonal palette that I can’t put down lately! I got it for Christmas and the formula blends easily. Plus this color is divine and is totally buildable. (Using the third color from the left – the bright one).
Highlighter: Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter Powder, Peach Lights. I’m wearing my favorite affordable powder highlighter, which is is a great dupe for the Becca highlighters! I’ve talked about this one many times – it’s a foolproof formula and you cannot mess up your glow using it. It was one of my top picks in this post!
Lip Gloss: BeYu Catwalk Volume Gloss, Translucent Skin. I wanted to keep the lip simple since the eyes brought the drama! The gloss feels great on, is not sticky, and is perfect for that nude lip look. It’s also great for layering over other colors. Perfect for everyday!
What’s your favorite date night look? Have you tried any of these products? Let me know what you think!
