Howdy, folks! I’m sure you know by now my love for trying out ALL the mascaras. While I do love both high-end and drugstore mascaras, I’m really a sucker for finding a good drugstore formula because MOMLIFE and I like to save money! So today I’m sharing with you my top 3 favorite drugstore mascaras of the moment!

Here we go in no particular order…
Rimmel Scandaleyes Retroglam Mascara – Okay so I’ll be honest, this is not a mascara that I have only recently tried. As I matter of fact it was on my chosen list for top 10 beauty products of 2016! I originally bought this because it was on sale for a whopping $3.99 – let me tell you, I was not expecting much. But boy, was I surprised when I tried it out! This formula is fabulous! The brush adds volume and lengthening to my lashes and really builds up as you go. I find the formula to be very hydrating, which feels like it lasts much longer to me.
I do NOT recommend using any mascara past the three month mark no matter what brand it is – most run out or dry up around this time anyways, but you will run the risk of eye infection if you take it much farther, just FYI! However, I feel that this particular mascara seriously lasts me that full three months without wearing down. As a matter of fact, I find it to be a great dupe for the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, which costs a lot more and, if you ask me, dries up much quicker, giving you less bang for your buck. I have come back to this Rimmel mascara time and time again. And the price is phenomenal. It won’t let you down!
L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara – Well, this one is not new to me either. I wrote about this one in my top 10 Favorite products from last year! But I cannot get enough of it. I will be honest – anytime I try out a new mascara, I usually hate them all until I’ve tried them for a week. There’s just something about breaking in a new formula and they never really look right on my lashes until I’ve gotten a few uses out of them. Well, NOT THIS GUY. This mascara is no joke. It literally accentuates every tiny lash that I maybe didn’t know I had. The volume and precision literally blew me away at even first use. At under $10, um, yes please.
The ONLY thing I have to say about this formula that isn’t the greatest is that I feel like it does dry up quicker than other formulas. It seems I have a 2 month run time on this one vs. a 3 month. But I am telling you, regardless of that issue, it’s 1000% worth having to buy it more often. Everyone that tries it seems to be in love – go getcha some! Here’s a little before and after pic for you – right with no mascara, left with two coats of Lash Paradise…need I say more?!?!
BeYu Lash Expert Volume & Curl Mascara – This one is brand new to me, brand and all. And lately it’s been the one most on repeat for me! The formula is very hydrating also and I LOVE the lengthening effect it gives me. I have very blonde lashes and they aren’t THAT long, but they do curl well. So I give them a curl and then use this stuff – it makes my lashes look way longer than they are!
This is another one that I have loved since wearing it on day 1. Not too many mascaras impress me right off the bat like that. This one has a straight brush which I always feel like will never work for me – I don’t know why. I feel like it will unnaturally go against the curve of my lashes, but it doesn’t at all. This stuff is fabulous. It’s on the higher end of the drugstore pricing, but worth every single penny.
So there you have it, friends! My top three drugstore mascaras that are currently on repeat! Have you tried any of these yet? Comment with your experiences below!
